Views of Monaco from the ship tendered in the harbour
The principality of Monaco sits on the Mediterranian Sea. It is very much a
tourist attraction. We chose the St Paul de Vence tour and Scenic Drive.
St Paul de Vence is a nice little town a little over an hour from Monaco. The drive was nice with a good speaker giving information about the area. Once in St Paul de Vence we had a nice walk thru the city, and then had about an hour to explore on our own.
By the time we returned the seas had become very rough. The tender rocked and rolled quite a bit getting to the ship, then was unable to adaquately stabilize against the ship so a total of 4 crew members, 2 on the tender and 2 on the platform, assisted each passenger in slowly exiting the tenders. It was an experience.
