Qaqortoq (JulianehÄb), Greenland

This, again, is a tender port. However, the ship's anchorage is in a protected bay so only a small chance that we would not get to go ashore here.
The tender ride was a little over 8 minutes from last in to first out. Until 10:45 we had to get a tender ticket to go ashore in an orderly fashion. At 10:45 they announced "open tendering" so passengers can come and go as you please. The last tender will have passengers aboard at 4:30pm.
The port itself is a small commercial operation. It is reasonably set up for passengers, with a small dock for the tenders that is convient to the small "welcome" area provided. A short walk covers the area around the port.
A few people were around with vests marked "Tourist Inforamtion" and the Welcome Center listed tours. Items offered for sale seemed to be generic Greenland, not specific to Qaqortog.
All in all, a nice break to the sea days.
