Dublin, Ireland
A great day in Dublin. I had booked a very reasonable excursion called Wild
Wiklow. Although I generally stay away from large busses, this one was OK.
Seats were the normal size, which was very tight for me. The inconvenience
was overcome by a very engaging driver - Dennis.
We met up as scheduled near the gangway. We were off on time to a nice drive through the Irish countryside with very good commentary. As with other areas on this trip, the view was very interesting.
During the trip we visited Lough Tay, also called the Guinness Lake. It is a small lake on private property owned by the Guinness Beer family. Dennis said that the property, which includes a house, garage, and other structures, is for sale. On the second morning, I had a reunion with an old friend. I had a very nice conversation with him and I was very glad to catch up with him again.
